Training Practice
The Brook Green Medical Centre is committed to on-going medical education and is an accredited training practice. Dr David Wingfield, Dr Anna Wilson, Dr James Cavanagh are qualified trainers.
GP Registrars
As a training practice, we normally have two or more GP Registrars with us. A GP Registrar is a fully qualified doctor who will stay with us for a year to gain experience of, and education in, general practice before qualifying as a GP.
Students
Every year, undergraduate medical students are accepted for general medical training. Students may sit in with the doctors as part of a consultation and final year students may hold their own supervised surgeries. If you believe that you would find this intrusive, or are in any way unhappy, then you may ask to see the doctor alone, but we would urge our patients to support our young trainee doctors and allow them to be part of the consultation process.
