Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions using the following methods:
- Online - via the link at the top of this page if you have access permissions (you can apply for access in person at the practice)
- In person - hand the right-side prescription counterfoil in to reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By post – if you send a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your request, we will post your prescription to you.
Please note that we CANNOT accept telephone requests or Faxes.
Prescriptions can be collected from the practice or sent electronically to a community pharmacy of your choice. If you use a specific pharmacy, please let us know so we can update your file and have your prescriptions sent direct to that pharmacy.
Provided a repeat prescription request is received by 18.00 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday; the prescription will generally be ready after 16.30 two working days later.
If you get your prescription sent directly to a community pharmacy for collection, please leave a further two days before attending the pharmacy to collect your medication.
