Clinics & Services

Ante-Natal / Post-Natal Care

Ante-natal care is shared with the hospital. You should be seen monthly from your initial appointment at the hospital until the 28th week of pregnancy, then every two weeks until the 36th and then weekly until delivery. Post-natal examinations are given here if you have shared care.

Baby Clinic

Child development checks and immunisations are done here at the surgery every Tuesday morning between 09:00 and 12:00. The baby's eight week check and the mother's postnatal examination are performed by a doctor and you must book an appointment for this. First immunisations will be given by a nurse after seeing the doctor. Health visitors will be in clinic 13:00 to 15:15 on Tuesday afternoons - please make an appointment for this clinic.

Please see our booklet for more information.

Triple appointments are required for the fitting of a coil. Please be sure to tell the receptionist if you need a triple appointment.  Please note that coils are not fitted in the evenings or on Saturdays.  If you are unable to come to your appointment, please inform us as soon as possible so that someone else can use it.
