Have your say - public consultation

The H&F CCG are looking at Urgent Care Centres and Weekend Plus Hubs.

As you will be aware, the NHS is always looking at how we can make best use of our money.  We want to provide the best possible healthcare to all our residents, but we must do so within our budget.  That can mean making difficult decisions.

Over the next seven weeks, we will be out and about listening to the views of the public, staff and stakeholders.  We have various materials to support this including a public consultation document and summary leaflets.  You can find out more about the consultation and download materials on our website:

We are delighted to announce that we are now open at weekends from 8am - 8pm.

Please see the document below for more information

We are pleased to announce that we are participating in The Growing Health Scheme, a programme aimed at elderly people who want to be more active, and also for stable patients with servere mental health problems. The programme is run by Sustain, a group of charities promoting sustainable food growth and responsible farming.

Dr James Cavanagh has been referring patients into the scheme, and so far the benefits have been very positive. For more information see this article published in GPOnline.

We are providing Pre-Registration Student Nursing placements  for 4 to 6 weeks, to Nurses in their final years of college at King's College London and Tuke School. This is to try to increase nursing levels in General Practice.

You may see a Student Nurse sitting in with our Practice Nurses for training purposes over the coming year.

For more information about these courses, please see this Student Nurse Placement Flyer published by Health Education England.
